Terms and Conditions

Last updated: July 8, 2026

Welcome to GeoSn0w.com (the “Site”). These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site, including all articles, tutorials, guides, and the online tools hosted here.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. About This Site

GeoSn0w.com is a personal blog and toolset run by an individual developer, GeoSn0w (also known as @FCE365 / iDevice Central). It covers reverse engineering, cybersecurity, iOS and macOS internals, programming, and related technical topics.

Content is written for a general technical audience and is not directed at children under 13.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Site. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

By using the Site you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Educational Purpose and Responsible Use

Everything on this Site – including material on reverse engineering, exploitation, jailbreaking, and security research – is published for educational, defensive, and research purposes only. Reverse engineering for interoperability, security research, and learning is lawful in many jurisdictions, and that is the spirit in which this content exists.

You agree that you will not use anything you learn here to:

  • gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, networks, or data that are not yours;
  • bypass security controls on devices, software, or services you do not own or are not authorized to test;
  • infringe another person’s privacy, security, or intellectual property;
  • cheat, defraud, or gain an unfair advantage in any game or online service in a way that violates that service’s rules;
  • break any applicable law or regulation.

If you are unsure whether an activity is lawful, do not attempt it and seek proper legal or professional guidance. The author does not condone or encourage misuse of this material.

4. Online Tools

The Site provides browser-based tools, including the iOS SHSH2 Blob Checker, the P12 Certificate Checker, the Provisioning Profile Checker, and the Configuration Profile Checker (the “Tools”).

Each Tool’s page describes what it does with your file, what leaves your browser, and what does not. The following terms apply to all of them.

4.1. Files you upload

You may only submit files that you own or that you are otherwise authorized to inspect. Do not upload signing certificates, private keys, provisioning profiles, blobs, or configuration profiles belonging to another person or organization without their permission.

You are solely responsible for the files you submit and for your right to submit them.

4.2. Provided “as is”, no reliance

The Tools are provided for convenience and information only. Their output may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, particularly because the iOS security landscape changes quickly.

Nothing a Tool reports is a guarantee. In particular, a result suggesting that a downgrade, restore, sideload, or installation is possible is not a promise that it will succeed, and must not be relied upon as the sole basis for any action.

4.3. Your decisions, your risk

Actions you take based on a Tool’s output – attempting a downgrade or restore, trusting or installing a configuration profile, signing or sideloading an app, or anything similar – are entirely at your own risk.

The author is not liable for any resulting device damage, bricking, data loss, downtime, security exposure, or account action.

5. No Professional Advice

The content and Tools on this Site are not legal, security, financial, or other professional advice, and no professional relationship is created by your use of the Site.

For decisions with real consequences, consult a qualified professional.

6. Risk of Following Technical Guides

Many guides here describe operations that can permanently damage a device or its data, including jailbreaking, entering DFU, running exploits, kernel debugging, modifying firmware, and downgrading.

These operations can brick a device, cause data loss, void a warranty, or trip security mechanisms. Game and application reverse engineering can additionally result in account suspensions or bans on third-party services.

You follow any instructions on this Site voluntarily and at your own risk. You are responsible for understanding what a procedure does before you attempt it, for having backups, and for accepting the possible outcomes. The author is not responsible for any damage, loss, or penalty that results.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, the articles, guides, tool interfaces, code, text, and graphics on this Site are the property of the author and are protected by copyright and other laws.

You may read, share links to, and quote reasonable portions of this content with attribution for personal, non-commercial, and educational use.

You may not republish, redistribute, sell, or present substantial portions of the content as your own, or scrape the Site at scale, without prior written permission.

Third-party names, trademarks, and materials referenced on the Site remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary only.

Copyright concerns are handled under the DMCA process described in the Privacy Policy.

This website and its author are not endorsed or in any way related to or linked with Apple Inc.

8. User Contributions

If you leave a comment or otherwise submit content to the Site, you are responsible for it. You must not post anything unlawful, infringing, defamatory, malicious, or that facilitates the misuse described in Section 3. Do not post another person’s private information.

By submitting content you grant the author a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and moderate it in connection with the Site.

The author may edit, remove, or refuse any submission at any time, for any reason, without notice.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • use the Site or Tools to break the law or the terms of Section 3;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or compromise the Site or its infrastructure, except through a good-faith, responsible-disclosure security report sent to the contact address below;
  • upload malware, or submit files intended to attack the Site or other users;
  • misrepresent your identity or authorization when submitting files or content;
  • use automated means to harvest content or hammer the Tools.

For the avoidance of doubt: the author does not provide device unlocking, iCloud or activation-lock bypass, account recovery, or any “hack someone else’s device” service, and requests for such things are not welcome.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site links to and references external projects, tools, and services (for example, code repositories, sideloading tools, and other utilities).

These are provided for reference only. The author does not control them, does not endorse them by linking, and is not responsible for their content, behavior, safety, or availability. Your use of any third-party resource is governed by that party’s own terms.

11. Advertising

The Site may display advertising, including through Google AdSense. Advertised products and services are not endorsed by the author, and any dealings you have with an advertiser are solely between you and that advertiser.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and Tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

The author does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any information or Tool output is accurate or current.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, device damage, bricking, lost profits, account bans, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or Tools – even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to access the Site (which is normally zero) or the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the author from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site or Tools, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

15. Availability and Changes to the Site

The author may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site or any Tool at any time, without notice or liability. Content may be added, changed, or removed at any time.

16. Termination

The author may restrict or block your access to the Site at any time if you breach these Terms or misuse the Site.

The provisions that by their nature should survive termination – including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification – survive.

17. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always available at https://geosn0w.com/terms-and-conditions/, and the “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

18. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to contact at geosn0w.com, or through the Contact page.

Hey! I’m GeoSn0w, also known online as @FCE365, a jailbreak enthusiast, reverse engineer, and developer since 2015. I’m the creator of iDevice Central, a blog and YouTube channel dedicated to exploring iOS internals, jailbreak development, reverse engineering, and the fascinating world where software meets security research. Over the years, I’ve covered and contributed to countless topics in the Apple jailbreaking scene, documenting exploits, kernel patches, and low-level system tweaks. My goal has always been to make complex technical concepts more understandable for those who want to learn, not just to use jailbreaks, but to understand how they actually work. This blog reflects my journey through reverse engineering, coding, and experimentation with iOS, macOS, and even game engines like Roblox (Lua). You’ll find articles, educational guides, and insights that aim to teach, not to promote hacking or unauthorized access. Everything here is shared for educational and research purposes only. I believe in curiosity-driven learning, responsible disclosure, and keeping the hacker spirit alive, ethically.
